For all water soluble vitamins such as the B group vitamins, when they are placed in hot water, the nutrient content of the vitamin is extracted. In fact, the hotter the water and the longer it is steeped for, the more the nutrients are extracted.
The table below shows the higher amount of nutrient present in a steeped cup of tea at 95￮C compared to a cup of tea that is steeped at 80◦C. (delete the 20% RDI column)
You can see that for Vitamin E which is a fat soluble vitamin, after being brewed in hot water at 95ºC, 94% of the vitamin content was destroyed, hence we do not include fat soluble vitamins in Eloments teas
